  • Are your Undrdog Ceramic Coating packages physically indestructible?

    When you have a ceramic coating installed on any surface of an automobile, the nanoparticles that make up its formula develop a hard, stain-resistant, and glossy surface. However, the ceramic coating itself is NOT in any way indestructible and can be scratched in similar fashion to your vehicle’s clear coat.

  • If I get a paint protection film package, will you cover it with a ceramic coating?

    Yes! Our Paint Protection Film packages and  Ceramic Coatings pair very nicely, as the coating fills microscopic pockets on both your vehicle’s clear coat and the ones naturally occurring on a clear bra’s surface. The purpose of doing this is to double the gloss of the dually protected surfaces while providing an additional layer of exterior protection.

  • Could I purchase a ceramic coating and install it myself?

    Do not let cheap spray sealants fool you - Our ceramic coatings here at D’Andrea Auto Detailing are far more high-end and because of this, they require a professional installation team for proper installation. Undrdog Ceramic Coatings must be hand-applied in a temperature-controlled and contamination-free area, smoothed off meticulously while they are applied.

  • Should I wait to wash or detail my car after getting my ceramic coating?

    We at D’Andrea Auto Detailing encourage you to wait for up to a week before having your vehicle’s exterior cleaned following a ceramic coating installation. Similar to fresh concrete, a ceramic coating continues to harden in the weeks following installation, but after about 7 days, it is safe to have detailed.

Ceramic Coatings or Paint Protection Films - Which Is Better?

Ceramic coatings and paint protection films are always stacked up beside one another by many customers that come to our Carol Stream, Illinois auto detailing shop.
